B.E.B.E. (Brethren Union)

Churches that equip servant-leaders, using biblical education by extension.

R.E.B.E. National Coordinator: Petrica Ursache

Vision:

A functional national system of servant-leader-disciplers at the national level of our denomination—both men and women—who progressively multiply, by the guidance of the Holy Spirit, churches that are relevant and multiplying themselves

BEBE equips servant-leaders—men and women—in particular, in the Brethren Denomination.

Petrica Ursache is national coordinator of the BEBE system; he is assisted by Brother Ioan Daneti in Western Romania.

The national coordinator is one of the elders of Filadelfia Brethren Church in Botosani.

Need:

A.  The small number of servant-leaders that come out of formal systems of Christian education in contrast to the needs of the local churches.

B.   The lack of a specialization of servant-leaders in the leadership and administration of the church.

C.   The lack of a movement for multiplying disciple-making leaders at the national level.

D.  The weak involvement of women in disciple-making and multiplying women’s ministry in the denomination’s local churches (according to Titus 2:3).

E.   The existence of a very small number of trained servant-leaders in many Romanian churches in the Diaspora.

Solution:

A.    Equipping disciple-making leaders according to the established profile.

B.     Training in areas of leadership and church administration through the Pastoral Theology program.

C.     Forming a team of multiplying leaders with an emphasis on adult education.

D.    Equipping a group of women capable of multiplying themselves.

E.     Equipping disciple-making leaders in Romanian churches in the Diaspora.
