Mission

EBE considers that, through its partnership and available infrastructure at the present time and through the guidance and help of God, it can participate in mobilizing Romanian churches significantly to fulfill the Great Commission.

The Romanian evangelical church has a huge potential to influence society and to make a difference in world missions, but the fulfillment of this mandate depends in great measure on the quality and number of leaders.

A greatly expanded interest in world missions exists, especially among young Romanian believers.

Likewise, a very great interest and potential for involvement and service is found more and more among Christian women. Women are still under-utilized for the Kingdom of God. Mature and godly women are a great necessity for the healthy growth of our Lord Christ’s spiritual body.

The present environment demonstrates the need for “equippers” with a vision for multiplying disciple-making servant-leaders for an expanding ministry. The Church of Jesus Christ needs teams developed “in ministry”, not simply “for ministry”; teams to which gifted people contribute; teams trained and empowered in the church, by the church, and for the work of the church.

Certain ones of the EBE staff have already been involved in cross-cultural missions, equipping servant-leaders in such countries as Vietnam, Moldova, Ukraine, Tajikistan, and southern Sudan.
