Disciplemaking Pastor
We recommend this course for every pastor and church worker. It is based on a book by the same name by Pastor Bill Hull, where he discusses his personal experiences in ministry.
If the Church has forgotten its mandate from the Lord, most times the pastor is the one responsible. Evangelizing the world is impossible without the making of disciples, and this, according to the Bible and Jesus’ model, is the primary responsibility of the pastor. We can each be an active pastor who builds the church through orienting it towards discipleship. The emphasis will not be on programs, the size of the sanctuary, or the number of worship participants, but rather on the quality of the lives of the believers.
Disciplemaking Pastor helps us understand our role as leaders to delegate responsibility and authority to people equipped to serve, to work as a coach in the forming, empowering, and mentoring of others in the ministry.
Quote: “The disciplemaking pastor spends most of his time with those who want to be trained to reproduce themselves, who have a kingdom mentality, who are dedicated to the Cross and who see multiplication as Christ’s method of winning the world for Him. Let’s not forget that disciplemaking is not an end in itself. Our purpose is to populate heaven and to save as many people as possible, giving them the life-changing message of salvation in Christ!”
